Breast Cancer Now Forum

I have just had news of 'micromet' in lymph node biopsy. I await the HER2 test result. (I had a lumpectomy on 18/9/17). My feelings right now are that I will have more of an issue coming to terms with the presence of cancer cells if 1% is considered negative and therefore left untreated. Whilst I don't relish the thought of possible chemo (after original ultrasound showed clear nodes and was therefore not likely to be part of the treatment plan) I nevertheless would rather know that every possible line of attack were used to combat this evil disease!
