Hi pinklily and congrats on almost finishing the 1st part of your chemo 👍 As Aliand says, everyone is different but in regards to your hands, are you referring to peripheral neuropathy? I think it is pretty common side effect of taxane chemos but if you keep a record of any changes and discuss when you see your onc they will try to keep it to a minimum if they can. I started on docetaxel (developed hypersensitivity) then had 3 x weekly Paclitaxel and at this stage still didn't have any neuropathy (again developed hypersensitivity) then was prescribed 2 rounds of Abraxane. After the 1st one is when I noticed the pn so I discussed this with my doctor and they decided I'd had enough by then and didn't want to cause any lasting damage so the 2nd one was cancelled. I'm happy to say that the peripheral neuropathy I did develope has since completely gone away! I wish you all the best with it, Amy xx
