Thank you ladies, 💕reading these posts since I found you in November, they have been invaluable and got me through the rough bits, the funny bits and given me a quiet relief that we are not alone. Although non of us wanted to be here, there is comforting support from some amazing people, who understand completely, some conversations you can’t seem to have with your family and friends, get answered with a deep understanding of what we are going through “Ladybowler” there for everone💜 I hope you realise the impact you have💜Thank you and I wish all you lovely people the very best x love and best wishes Jackie x

Hi haven’t posted for a while, hope everyone is getting on and things are going well for you all. 19/20 done , last booster, finish tomorrow, I have felt ok throughout, and managed to work through. Have a red boob, much darker underarm, itchy and a bit spotty ! apparently I’m putting to much moisturiser on!! Using Doublebase gel and foam padding to stop the friction. as sore underarm and boob, but have to wear bra at work- not a good look if I didn’t!! Strange, but a little nervous about finishing and not having people checking me every day. Last couple of months have been a blur, as I’m sure they are for everyone- looking forward to not actually thinking about cancer everyday, and getting on with normal 🤪. Good luck everyone x

Hi Roxanne/ I had the same information at my planning, it was mentioned by the oncologist, and hasn’t been spoken of since (no 10 out of 20 today). I spoke to the radiographer at my review last week as it has been playing on my mind, she said it possibly could be a long term SE, if you had an X-ray in 20 years time, they might see some scarring, but said not to worry, as the treatments are extremely precise. Feeling ok on day ten, little pink and have had waves of being tired, but ok and still working around treatments. Probably not looking my best though!! Good luck x

Morning everyone, no 1 done ✅ yeay! went well, straight forward couldn’t think of any questions when they asked😳but as soon as I got in the car they al came to me! I was thinking about you guys when lying there, sending good vibes to all, which was comforting. On my left side but don’t have to hold breath. Thanks Corrina, everything was kind of going to plan, meant to start rads yesterday and machine broke down so appointments changed twice! Bit out of sync now, smallest things and all that, Hopefully start today now. Thank you for advice, water and cream at the ready. Hope you are ok, not too many SE! Take care xxx

Hi Meesh. Yes so annoying! Phyced up and ready to go.... good job my friend was with me, as a little emotionally unstable when things don’t pan out the way I expected, slightest thing!!! ended up going for coffee and cake instead! Hi, hope you all got well today and feeling ok 💕🌸Little frustrating 10.30am appointment was changed to 6.30pm, then hospital phoned this afternoon, to say machine had broken down, so haven’t started yet! So glad I don’t have to travel too far. Put the leggings on again tomorrow All dressed up and nowhere to go! Will have to wait a little longer before I join the band😘xxx

Hi Corina. I’ve just started taking tamoxifen a month in, so far nothing major, hot flushes quite frequent during the day, but doable! I have noticed the skin on my legs has been itchy the last couple of evenings with restless legs, but not sure if that’s medication or just just me or the central heating ha. I’ve a new pack to start next week a different make, which I heard can have an effect on some people, will keep you posted, starting rads on Monday so lots of things going on with our bodies, bound to have some effects. Hi Shi I certainly will. 15 reg and 5 booster, feeling better than I have for a while, now I know what’s going on, things do seem to get a little easier with knowledge, although third day on tamoxifen waiting. for any side effects. Good to know you’re not alone. Nice to meet you x

Thank you for your kind words Corrina. Just had appointment come for next Tuesday for first Oncology appointment. Had a better couple of days , taking mind off things a little, being back at work, needs must. We’ve all been through the mill, and back again. Trying not to dwell and just get on with it all. Not easy, but we all must have that inner strength in us somewhere. xx

I was thinking that there was something wrong with me. Diagnosed in November had WLE and SNB just before Xmas, results today were the best they can be, all clear, good margins, treatment plan radiotherapy and Tamoxifen. But I’m feeling so flat and low when I should be feeling how lucky I am. I haven’t been through half of what the majority of ladies on here have been through, but have a cloud hanging over me, feeling that I’m never going to be like I was before, putting on the happy mask when in company and in front of my children and then crying when on my own. Sent the “all clear” texts to family and friends who were really happy and congratulating me, but now feel that I’m unable to mention how I really feel. It really helps to read the posts on here, everyone of them is so relevant being in a place where others truly understand. X

Thank you Ann💜I’ve been busy as I can be after op on Friday- seems along time ago and it’s only 4 days, thank you for answering me. Christmas Day was ok my work mates had a collection and paid for us to go for dinner, so no washing up! Quiter today and a couple of glasses of wine so not too bad, still tearful, but I guess that is “normal “.
