Hi there, I've been referred to the breast clinic by my GP. I am 40 years old. My left breast has always been slightly larger but a few months ago it got even bigger. After being nagged by family I went to my GP assuming she would tell me everything was ok but when she examined me she said my left breast was lumpy as was my right but the left breast had a more solid area. I've also noticed it feels fuller and heavier. My appointment at the breast clinic is next week but over the weekend I notice there is a burning sensation under my left armpit and I can also feel it slightly in my left breast as well as what I can only describe as a strange sensation in my left breast. I am so worried as I've got a 2 year old son who is my world and I just want to be here for him. I'm worried I am being silly. Any advice or hearing other people's experiences would be much appreciated. Thank you
