Hi ktk. Yes Im on a daily tablet for 4 years. I havnt started it yet as having dental treatment for bone density in my jaw. The iabondric acid can cause jaw necrosis so getting things sorted (hopefully) first. No one mentioned 6monthly infusions or vit d. Will ask onc about it. Hope you are feeling less achy today.

Hi all. Im a stage3 triple negative. I have had lumpectomy and nodes check which I am grateful it hadnt spread to. Chemo fec-t and about to start 4 weeks of rads on 15th Oct. Has anyones onc prescribed ibandronic acid/bondorat to prevent re-occurance. I can find little on this as it seems to be mainly prescribed for secondaries. ??

Hi Dawn. That was my worst thought just got back to feeling fine after lumpectomy to face 6fec-t was so so worried about it all. But the ladies here have been really helpfull. I tried the 2-3 litres water day before, day of chemo and today and 🤞 so far no horrendous side effects bit weary n achey. Have you got your date yet? Val x

Welcome Dawn. I had my first fec today. I bottled it with cold cap I dont like the cold. But other than bit achey im ok. So take it one day at a time and do what you feel is right. All the best x Val

Brilliant news 😀 👍 thats great. I asked about diet and was told on chemo eat what you like whenyou like.i have brought a nutri bullet so can have soups n smoothies if feeling rough. Will prob catch you on June or July chemo threads. Or here it will be nice to hear from you xx Val

Hi Mrs S I also am triple negative and starting chemo 5 june. Had lumpectome 25 April and luckily hadnt spread to lymph nodes but was grade 3. Hopefully we can chat and share our experiences on June threads. X

Hi Ktk. Meeting went well have my assesment n chat on 4th then first chemo on 5th June, they have me on FEC-T six courses. Then 4 of Rads. Hope your results go well tomorrow 😀 . We had thunder and torrential rain about 5pm yest but sunny again now xx

Hi ktk well results today. The lump was larger than though 2cm not 7mm removed inc margins. Hasnt spread to lymph nodes which is brill. It is agressive and quick growing so next step is chemo over 18 weeks then 3 weeks radiotherapy. Just waiting for it all to sink in. Have first oncology meeting 22nd. Hope you feeling ok and times passing quickly for you x
