Dear ladies, reading this forum makes me feel better as I realise I'm not he only person with concerns about hair loss due to hormone therapy. I'm very thankful to chemo and radiotherapies, surgery, 5 years of tamoxifen and now 2 months of Letrozole. All of these contributed to keep me alive, despite of serious side effects (pains, osteoporosis, hair loss). I don't want to seem futile, but thin hair and hair loss makes me mad. I support hot flushes or pain much better (and here I should say that exercise and collagen have helped me a lot). I take supplements with B5 and B6 vitamine. I've also taken minoxidil for two years, with some interruptions, but the results are not very good (but maybe it could be worse if I would not use it. Who knows?), so I ask if minoxidil is appropriate in case of alopecia caused by hormone therapy. Does anybody know? Since I started with Letrozole the hair loss has increased a lot and hair on the top and in front is really thin. I have years ahead with Letrozol and I'm very concerned. Best wishes for you all! Helena
