You sound just how I felt first time. Hope things going well for you now. I managed about 10 fairly good days before the next cycle last Monday (11/6). Just coming out the other side now on day 8. Did feel better after chemo 2 but got an infection so on antibiotics - no hospital stay though. I too planned to work at least for week 3 but not sure how realistic this is. I'm struggling with this new life of chemo hell but I keep reminding myself that this time next year it will be behind me. I asked my oncologist if they could adjust meds so didn't feel so rough and was told had to put up with it and was lucky not to end up back in hospital! Are you on FEC for three cycles?
