I have been diagnosed with high grade DCIS. Surgeon thinks I might be able to have lumpectomy followed by reconstruction. He said mastectomy at first, but then asked the consultant plastic surgeon to have a look... so I’m going back tomorrow to see her again, she is going to show me some photos...
