Hi Helenann,   I'm so pleased to hear you now have a date to have your tissue expander replaced-fingers and toes are crossed for you that all goes ahead on 12th August. I had been thinking a lot lately, about tomorrow-as it was last 20th July when I had the 1st mammogram that lead to a call-back, which lead to the biopsy confirming Grade 2 Lobular. It's a year tomorrow that my ball started rolling. However, I am fine-and still letting Letrozole do it's stuff before I know what my surgery options are.    I'm going away for a long week-end on the Bank Holiday week-end...to the same place I went last year, the week after my diagnosis. I won a Winnie-The-Pooh on the boardwalk, playing one of those stupid games:) and he has been sleeping with me ever since. Hi Maggiemay. All quite normal. I had 20 sessions of rads and completed on 2nd July and still get the odd twinge and arm pain. Carry on doing the excersises you were given for after surgery I find that helps. Stretching the surgery arm. I am having treatment on my arm as the tendons are a bit tight and twisted. It can take up to 12 month or more for everything to settle down. You may also get a bit of rib pain again all ok but get it checked out if you do. Neurofen gel worked for me as recommended by my bcn on arm shoulder and boob. You maybe find you will feel and see quite a lot of changes over the next few weeks as it is still early days and I am still being told this 6 month on. Do what you can when you can, what you like when you like, try and say no! And say yes to things that you haven’t done before. Hope all goes well for you. Hello everyone,   Since I started this thread, I just wanted to check back in and say that the operation went well, and I'm now at home recovering. Results/treatment plan should come next week, but at the moment I'm just grateful to have passed the first hurdle.    I admit I did get rather anxious on the day (old habits and all that), but the staff were truly lovely, and the anaesthetist promised me her version of a 'gin and tonic' to calm my nerves (that is my blood pressure before surgery).   Thanks again to everyone on here for their encouragement and kind words, I really appreciated that.   xxx Rapunzel   PS: I did have tea and toast.       ...
