Hi Ladies, Thank you for your lovely comments, I'm speechless and quite choked up. I really appreciate all your kind comments, it has been my pleasure to help you in any small way. I do this as I felt exactly the same as you are feeling now Xela, it's hard to see yourself at first but trust me it does get better and I know you have an amazing Plastic Surgeon who will do his very best. Don't be disheartened at first, it takes a little time to heal & swellings to subside. You've got great spirit so keep that up x I just wanted to answer your question Xela, about Nipple Reconstruction, my experience after meeting many ladies who have had this & speaking to Cosmetic/Medical Tattootists - is that it does go flat. A bra is a pressure garment and over time (roughly 6 months to a year) the projection that it surgically made can disappear. You also require the areolae tattooing and this too will fade considerably over time. Cosmetic /Medical Tattooing does not go as deep into the epidermis as an normal tattoo, therefore fades and needs re tattooing. Plus for some ladies the skin can be so thin and stretched or damaged after radiotherapy that tattooing or more surgery is not an option. I have supplied nipples to ladies who have had 3D Tattoo's and may sometimes want nipple projection, so they use my stick on prosthetic nipple as and when they choose. They are really easy to apply and remove. Just to point out - I would never recommend sticking a prosthetic nipple over a grafted or natural nipple. Contact me whenever Xela, and I look forward to making you new nips!!! Once gain - thank you so much for all your kind comments. I'm honoured, Much Love Rachel x www.areolae.co.uk
