Hello Everybody, Quick update. I’ve done much better on the reduced dose of Trodelvy. I think the steroids help a lot as I tend to droop a little after they stop. Hi Stargate re your message.  Yes I was taking a Chemo tablet but it hasn’t worked so jus have the injection in my arm for the bones, results from last MRI were not good more Tumoursin my Thorax, Oncologist has recommended Chemo on the drip and has given me 6 weeks to come to a decision 😩 can’t make up my mind I am 77 now and feel that my body won’t take it, anyway I just keep going like we all do on here. I was doubly unlucky because, in addition to the effect of chemotherapy, my life is spoiled by an allergy to cold. Maybe you've seen this before. The skin on the face is covered with red dry spots and the hands' skin cracks. After chemo, it looks even worse, sometimes even blood comes through. I even enrolled in esthetician schools to be able to take care of myself. You are right, moisturizing the skin is a very big part of the procedure. Hi Louise,  I see your tumour markers are quite good as well, so pleased for you.  My BCN advised me not to take Loperamide during the two weeks I'm taking the Cape and to stop the Cape if diarrhoea got really bad, 4 times or more a day, although I'm not really sure why, I'll ask her to explain why next time I speak to her. Although now I'm ok in that department thank goodness.  So sorry that you have the hand problem, are you using the cream with urea in? Hi Alviajo Have you tried a different AI medication. it’s worth changing if you get the same results again - see my other post to Ruthie2 - I also got panicky and bad anxiety on Anastrazole. good luck - keep your chin up and try to stay in the present and notice all around you and breath through your nose to help stop the panic Xxxxx   ... Thanks Amy, After a bit of research it turns out that Abraxane is slightly different to Paclitaxel, so maybe my worries that I’m being short changed are a bit premature! It’s all a bit of a minefield, isn’t it? Sometimes you’re being told to get as much information as possible, then you get information overload.
