Thanks girls, Sorry for late reply but my head has been all over the place. Surgery went well, took an hour longer than expected but healing well in my breast area although had to get 300ml of fluid drained just over a week ago. Appointment for results today , lump removed and they are confident that they have got 2mm of healthy tissue . 11 glands removed re the lymph nodes and no cancer in them which is great news . Have cording under my armpit which explains my soreness and lack of movement and also have had a flare up of the similar cording in my right arm which means I can' t straighten it now . Hubby feels like its a celebration but I'm not there yet ! I have to have 3 weeks of radiotheraphy, maybe more chemo and I can't help but look at my bald head, no eyelashes , bloated body and a boob missing and I feel broken .... Please tell me I am not going mad xx
