yes i have herceptin twice, and although it slowed my cancer down it was still coming back so now i am on trial capecitabine and xeloda seems to be working as it disappeared again, mine is skin mets so i can see when it comes back . Keep positive and give everything a go it may work for you .

Sorry to hear your story, I think though you belong to our gang.
I had a recurrence after a breast removal on the skin chest wall, they gave me taxtere for 6 cycles and more rads but as soon as it stopped the skin mets reappeared now i take xeloda tabs and on trial lapatinib, i am starting my second cycle on wed and so far so good hardly anything there.

diagnosed in 2005, currently on herceptin.
after completing fec, I had recurrence and had 6 taxtere now I don't feel like sex and when I do have it, it is very painful anyone else had this problem and does it always hurt? will it always hurt? shall I join the nuns?
