I have breast cancer and I had an axillary node clearance 10 days ago and have developed a very painful seroma. I had it drained on Monday but my breast and arm are very painful and swollen and clearly the fluid has built up again. I was told that they dont like to drain the fluid more than once a week due to the risk of infection but I am in a lot of pain and cant fit into my clothes as my arm and breast are so swollen. Any suggestions?
