Hi aneeebel,   i finished on the 24th April so I’m 13 days clear of rads now.   my skin is good but my node scar is swollen and under arm but no pain.   i have been lucky but poor angie has suffered so much.   your nearly done then double figures for you today which is brilliant.   i think mine went pink day 10 it was a bit itchy too but no broken skin yet.   make sure you ring that bell x     kimberley ... Hi MoDo   i massage in but only for as long as I’m putting the cream on and I massage upwards.   I'm now 10 days since treatment and no blisters jus pink. Hi MoDo   i finish treatment on Wednesday as I still have treatment over the bank holiday. Works out well for me as it gives me 6 days clear before I go to Spain.   i havnt got a clue what to wear? I have 3/4 jeans and trousers and high neck tops and pumps. I can’t do dresses as I will be so pale but I’m thinking of getting some fake tan.   i just hope it’s not too hot so I can do a few walks rather than sitting around a pool.   what ever happens your trip will be a welcome break for you. Of course we are nipper,   just think you finish Wednesday which is brilliant    i think people just just don’t understand as who can they if they haven’t experienced it. Hi aneeebel   no I think mine are longer really some of mine have been 15 mins but on a couple of occasions it’s been slightly less.   i haven’t had it as tough as you as no chemo for me.   my skin looks ok for now but long bath each evening and then lots of aveeno. Some people are told no cream but that’s confusing?  It’s working for me but 8 more to go.   please be kind to yourself and never ever give up. Hi aneeebel,   i fo agree it can take a few minutes but have had a couple of 15 minutes too.   it sounds like you’ve had a tough time but remember your near the end.   i had my 7th treatment yesterday due to finish 24th   a few late ones which tired me out going from work    the worst thing is fatigue but after what youve been you’ve been through this will be a breeze   good luck xxx ... Hi Barbara,   i do keep laughing about that wondering if youve bumped in to your neighbor   your week sound similar to mine, I had to work from home yesterday as I had a bad day Tuesday.   im glad the nausea is waring off, it’s not pleasant on top of everything else.   i found out that I will still have treatment on good Friday and bank holiday Monday so will finish 24th    I’m 50 tomorrow and my daughters are taking me away 1st May so I will have a week to recover    you enjoy your easter and take things easy xxx ... I’m really well nipper,    i am under no illusion that fatigue will hit me do i appreciate you keeping us updated.   i have been well all the way through, obviously the two surgeries knocked me and I had two weeks off on each one. It was driving me mad being home alone and wanted to be around my work friends.   i do get tired nipper but feel extremely lucky.   half way through for you so just keep counting your nearly there.   i do hope your keeping positive nipper and if it’s any consolation your helping others who are just behind you. Oh my god I agree if I didn’t have work I would explode, I love being around people and being at home makes my mind race.  I too will work from home if needs be but I want to carry on as long as I can.   i didn’t mention trips to the loo but I agree they are pretty frequent.   i started my treatment the other day and was busting for the loo, now I go before I get in the room.   i love work and know it’s helping me and my work are amazing with me as they know I’m not swinging the lead. I don’t take advantage. I can’t wait to travel again with work it’s only Brentwood and Glasgow but I love being pampered in the nice hotels ... View more
