Well I kinda feel like noone thinks it's a big deal but me.... I think they are doing the Breast MRI out of caution not because they suspect anything at all. She said she honestly felt like it was nothing more than heartburn. I hope she is right. The most support I have gotten has been from my endocrinologist who I saw because I thought it was all Thyroid related.( I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis..recently diagnosed) I am curious to see what they find as I truly feel that something just isn't right and that it is more than heartburn.  Thankyou for responding. Hi I am having a Breast MRI soon to determine if I have a similar issue with my sternum could you share with me any symptoms you have had with your sternum?   I too had BC in 2013 with lumpectomy, radiation and tamoxifen as treatment.  I didnt stay on the tamoxifen very long as it caused other terrible side effects for me.   Would love to hear about your symptoms and how you are doing.   Good luck and take care.   Amy ... So glad treatment is going well for you. I am getting ready for a breast MRI for suspected METS in sternum post 6 year lumpectomy. Could you share your symptoms of the sternum METS with me as I have found minimal info on the sternum and would like to know as much as I can. Thankyou for your response and info. I am for the most part positive...I think the hardest part sometimes is not knowing and having to jump through all the medical hoops sometimes is exhausting. I just feel like I know my body and something isnt right and noone seems to be able to find it, hopefully the breast MRI will give some answers. ... View more

Persistent sore throat for 6 months, breast bone soreness and pain, increasingly worse, occassional hip pain, headaches, dizziness.....initial breast cancer 2013 lumpectomy with radiation.  I have been to so many doctors last few months chest xray..clear,  throat us showed a lesion, but throat ct scan showed nothing. Symptoms getting worse MRI of breast requested by surgeon. Recent diagnosis of Hashimoto's thyroiditis....I am getting frustrated I feel fatigued, weak, numb etc most of the time afraid my breast cancer had metastasized to the sternum and possible hip....anyone have this...if so can you share symptoms?
