Hi Suzan, Thanks for your reply. I also had a lumpectomy and radiotherapy the first time around, so have been told I can't have radiotherapy again in the same breast. They think ( but are not sure) it's a new tumour and not the previous cancer come back? I think it must be a new one as this time it is ER +. I've been told that to have reconstructive surgery will be more complicated due to first cancer and that it may involve taking tissue from another part of the body. They have also mentioned Tamoxifen for 5 yrs, which I'm not looking forward to. I was due to see the breast surgeon last Friday, but it was cancelled and I'm seeing him this Friday, so hopefully will get a clearer picture of my plan/treatment etc. I hate the waiting! Are there a lot of us 'second timers' about? Is it common? Best wishes, dorsetlass.x
