Thank you for your reply. I haven’t started yet as I am in hospital waiting to have a stent fitted in my oesophagus because one of my tumours on the outside of the lung has attached it’s self to the outside of my oesophagus causing it to close. I am just waiting for a slot to get it done and in the meantime I am only managing sips of water and am being Iva fed. The oncologist wants to start the chemo on Friday either way whilst I am still in here.  ... View more

Hello I had my treatment stopped for a week due to Covid then once I tested negative went to get bloods done to start again and my liver levels weren’t right. This had never happened before and after a bit of uncertainty everyone agreed it was an effect of Covid. One week later they had returned to normal and I was back on my plan.  I was incredibly anxious with it all. I had had a weeks delay before due to low neutrophils but two weeks off was more than I could cope with. However everything seemed to go back to ‘normal’ again once I was back on it.  Hopefully this will be the same for you and your bloods will soon settle 😊 ... View more

Hi , So sorry not to have replied sooner ! I don't seem to get notifications to say someone has replied to me !  I didn't have chemo just three lots of  surgery and then the radiotherapy! Radiotherapy finished on the 23rd July so now just trying to get on with things ! Very hard some days and still get emotional !
