Hi Evie, this is very helpful thanks and it does make sense. I like the idea of the journal for my symptoms. Hey Peggy,  The Thigh and hip pain has been worse in the mornings, first thing or if I get up to go to the loo in the night its like my hips are just like " umm nope, we don't want to turn!".  This chemo is definately better in terms of being able to function though. When I was on FEC-T it literally put me on my butt each session!.  Myself and the wife are doing the same as yourself. Booking weekends away to visit friends or go to places we always talked about but never made time for!!.  Whereabouts are you?. It would be lovely to arrange a meet up for those that can at some point. " A ladies wot lunch " date!!.  Its so reassuring for me personally to have people I can talk to who get all this horrid cancer stuff, but also people who you can laugh with too!. Hi Angel eyes, I'm so very sorry you were not kept informed. I found out today after my latest mail that the breast cancer has metastasis to the " ocular" part of my eye.  The lesion on the bone is around 9mm and is putting pressure on my optic nerve, hence recent aching. I am meeting with my oncologist in the morning to discuss the results and hopefully come up with a plan and get all the information I need to process this. I just feel like a shell. Breast cancer diagnosis, surgery, chemo, sepsis, no radio because of covid , then spreading to the lymph nodes in collar bone, rest of affected armpit, base of neck, behind the beast bone and now my right eye. All on right side. Every meeting is bad news and I would just love a medical professional to throw some positivity my way just once to give me something to grab hold of again   Thank you for replying, it feels amazing to have someone listen . Hi everyone, it feels like ages since I have been on here probably isn’t that long but sometimes days feel like weeks.  My last chemotherapy was meant to be the 14th January but it ended up being the 31st December. I had to go into hospital on Boxing Day as I had a temperature of 39.1 . My bloods apparently showed my infection markers were quite high and I was given 3 different lots of iv antibiotics and after 7 hours was sent home as my temperature was normal. 5 days later on the 31st my bloods showed my infection markers were still high but because I didn’t have a temperature I was given chemotherapy and I ended up catching the flu which meant I never got the last 2 of my weekly chemotherapy. I’ve now seen my surgeon and I have an appointment with a plastic surgeon for mastectomy/reconstruction using my own tissue. Has anyone else had this procedure. I get so anxious over many things, the aches I feel in my rib cage on one side, the cramp like feelings I get in one of my legs. I just feel so scared about everything  ... View more
