Hello,    I am doing well.  I had my radial scar surgically removed.  They removed everything and reports were good. I'm now back to annually mammograms.  The vacuum biopsy which I had as well only removes a little to see if cancer is present. Hope this helps. ... View more

Hello,    A radical scar was discovered during my mammogram earlier this year and after a core needle biopsy and a several diagnostic mammograms this year, I have decided to have an excision of the RS next month.  I'm wondering what the recovery experience has been for others? How soon could you resume normal activities and exercise? I do strength training every week and wondering, how many weeks will I need to postpone.  I understand this is a day procedure and time away from work is minimal.  I take the bus to work so, will it be necessary to lighten my back pack for a few weeks?
