Hi I went out on a bit of a mission today with the intention of visiting as many pharmacies as possible to hunt down wockhardt.  First one had it, we swapped them to be my nominated pharmacy and they have said they will save a bundle for me.  I was lucky enough to be near my GP so I asked the receptionist if I could have a prescription specifying wockhardt.  They did it straight away and I now have two boxes.   To be fair though the side effects that were troubling me on tillimed had clamed down but I have noticed I've been much more tired and tearful lately, might not have been tillimed but I am keen to compare in the next few weeks   Claire x  ... Hi I've been swapped the exact same snd I was worried.  Im 3 weeks in and not much if anything to report.  Maybe change in hot flashes, they seem to come on quicker and are a little  more intense but I dont get loads, maybe 4 or 5 a day.   X  ... View more

Hi Sharon   Good news you could have the surgery, but I'm sorry they found cancer in your lymph, especially as you werent expecting it.  Did you have to go under another general yesterday?     I had my surgery 2.5 weeks ago in a private hospital (NHS takeover),  despite being told it was cancelled and I wouldn't get it this side of the virus shutdown.  I'm still waiting on my results (lumpectomy and sentinal node biopsy), I'll hopefully hear next Tuesday (via phone).    Claire x  ... Hi Simmo I'm not sure about the clip, I think it goes in similar to the way the biopsy clicky thing works, and I think its literally a place marker in case the growth shrinks before whenever the surgery is.  I dont know abkut risk of speading, the breast institute told me that it will put the growth on hold, well the hormones will, that they will shut down my ovaries.   However I just had a call from the hospital to rearrange my pre op to this Thursday, so I really have no clue what will go ahead this week.  I'm struggling to keep a level head now as I had got myself in a good place with my revised plan.   How did your meeting go?  Claire X  ... Hello   I'm sorry you're going through this.  I'm newly diagnosed and was due to have a lumpectomy/lymph out/therapeutic mammoplasty in a couple of weeks, it was brought forward  to this wednesday in the hope of hearing the virus crisis but I was told they would only operate on the poorly boob and match me up best year.  However  I've now been told there is no surgery until the crisis is over.  I've got to have a clip put in my tumour and start hormone therapy instead this week.     Hope you are doing ok today    Claire  X  ...
