Hi - I'm coming up to 3 years mastectomy . I couldn't have immediate reconstruction at the time . I'm ok at the moment with no reconstruction ( don't know how long that will last ) .. but would like my scar made to look better / flatter .. has anyone had this revision surgery ?

fiveoclocksomewhere - great you had good experience . I would have liked immediate reconstruction but wasn't an option. Same as OP, I'm looking at ( thinking about ) delayed reconstruction- but worried about build up to it and the actual operation, as opposed to living with 1 breast ( its been 2 years for me ) .....

I’ve just had annual mammogram - 1 yr and 1 month after surgery date. 2 weeks on and waiting for result. I’m hopeful as last year after 1st mammogram I had letter in 10 days for recall .......

Hi - I’ve recently bought a couple from Amoena website. These are the same ones I was originally given at hospital. I know M&S do breast forms - but have never tried them. Hope this helps x

please can you update on how you get on ? I’m waiting for my 1st mammogram after BC last year also ...... hope all is ok

I’m thinking a year from Surgery ? In my case I had op last year ( aug 1st ) and was clear 3 weeks later - have phoned as I was worried about backlog for mammogram ( Covid ) Ive been told I am due one any time now as it is annual - backlog is 3yr routine .
