Hello Evie-S, Holly and AnnieJ, You have no idea how much your kind words, thoughtfulness and support have meant since first posting last Wednesday. The wait was horrendous, my mind took me to some really dark places. As a lymphoma survivor (14 years) I was scared to be reading posts about the all too familiar Picc line, nueopgin injections and so on. When I underwent treatment (still can't say/think/write the actual name without feeling sick) there was not such a forum of warriors like you strong minded, big hearted, courageous and selfless ladies. You came to this frightened stranger's aid and I thank you for that once again. I had a physical examination last night and a follow up ultrasound which was clear. I offer my best wishes to all who read this message at some point in the future, please hold on to the hope that things can turn out for the best. I will continue to follow this forum and contribute if that is acceptable. I also want to say a very special thank you to the two BCNs you listened to my concerns on Thursday and Friday morning.
