Hi, I'm Pat. I have been on Anastrazole for almost 2 years too and I can relate to the aching legs and knees, my legs feel really heavy in bed. Also I get cramps in the night so the doctor gave me quinine tablets but they made me feel unwell so I stopped and the cramps came back. I decided to take one every other night and I still get cramp sometimes but it has helped a lot. I have nerve damage to my feet from chemo and that keeps me awake too, plus the hot flushes from Anastrazole, it's a melting pot! I suffered from restless leg syndrome anyway so it's a double whammy. My feet are half numb over the whole sole area and have a tight pins and needles feeling, it helps to wear bed socks, my feet need to feel cosy. I changed my routine and take Anastrazole at bed time now as I'm sure it was also keeping me awake. I figured if I take it late I'd be asleep before it kicked in, that works too. I have sleeping tablets but don't take them regularly, just if I've had a couple of bad nights on the trot to ensure a deep sleep. Doc prescribed Zopiclone, they are my safety net. Also 🙄 I am still fatigued after all this time. My lumpectomy was Jan 2019, Mastectomy March 2019. Thought I'd be better than this now, groan. I'm a young 74 if you're comparing us. Love to you all xxx
