Hi  I'm at a similar stage to you, had 3 EC and had the sickness - just have to keep going with the anti-sickness tablets. Ive lost about 80% of my hair and been doing the cold capping.  Just about to move onto 9 Paclitaxel.... does anyone know if it's ok to drive yourself to and from Paclitaxel treatment ? ... Hi So thankful for the group ... Ive been dreading losing my hair and have only had 2 EC with clld cap but most of my hair has fell out ... still can't brave the shave yet thou    I found doing the look good feel better make up and skin was really good and made me feel better... it was also lovely to speak and see other women going through the same thing  I also have a wig but haven't worn it  I feel self conscious that people will know but I just need to wear it snd sure it will be fine  Anyone had side effects of calf pain and what did you do yo help it  Love and hugs  Margo ... Hi  Had my second EC and the nurse said to continue using the cold cap for protection of the follicles and regrowth purposes  - I have lost about 50% of my hair after 1st cycle so was in two minds to continue so glad to get the advise off the nurse and will continue as suggested  Hope this helps anyone having second thoughts     Xxxx ... Hi everyone    It's so good to be able to get advice from this group - I had the cold cap but my hair has just started shedding today day 16 and feels like half of it came out in the shower this morning. I haven't booked the wig appointment yet but probably should get on with it sooner rather than later.  I've booked onto look good feel better workshop which I'm looking forward to and wouldn't have known about if it wasn't for this group.  Got my next EC on monday - has anyone else had the cold cap but still lost hair ?  Thanks  Margo  ... Hi  Had my first EC on Monday and had the freezing cap. The treatment went well but found the cap was very disorientating, really made me feel dizzy. Main side effects have been sickness and tiredness but nothing thats no manageable with the meds given out.  Overall it wasn't too bad and just waiting to see if the cap works also scared of losing the hair !  Hugs to everyone going through this xxxxx ... Hi Sephie Same here the process from diagnosis to this point has been going on since April including a lot of waiting and I have returned to work for 4 weeks so life has gone back to normal - I start on monday with EC and then T so back on the roller coaster  Hope it goes well and let me know as it looks like we have the same regime  Big hugs    Margo  ... Hi Justine1970 Many thanks for your reply .. my Chemo has been delayed by a week and I start on 23rd .. I have been told I can take someone with me for the first session but not after that.   I'm very nervous about having the chemo .. seeing the posts on here is helpful thou as so far no really bad side effects   I having 18 weeks, 3 cycles of EC 3 weeks apart then 9 cycles of T 1 week apart - everyone seems to have a different regime and different drugs !  Have my pre-chemo appointment this week if anyone has any advice on things I should ask  TIA  Margob  ... Hi  I am also wondering if you can have someone with you during chemotherapy - the Oncologist did say that you are ok to drive and having chemotherapy doesn't affect you car insurance  Xxxx ... View more
