Hi. It’s not just you for sure. I found a rash with small lumps a bit before Xmas. My gp wasn’t sure but since it was at the same site as my previous tumour referred me to the urgent breast clinic. Nothing. I followed up but nothing. They said they have a huge backlog. I’m lucky that I could pay to go privately. (Though that can’t last). Even with positive biopsy requiring surgery I couldn’t get into the nhs without a long wait!  This is disgraceful I think.  ... View more

Hi. I ha e just learnt that I have recurrence in or just under the skin. It’s in the same place as my original tumour. I was so shocked!  Nothing on ct. nothing obvious on ultrasound. Nothing on mammogram. I thought it was nothing until told it wasn’t. The consultant says a mastectomy will resolve it. Plus some medicines as yet not fully discussed. He said it is rare to see this and I’m still processing. My surgery is next week.  ... View more
