Thanks @TV1980 I won’t lie, the waiting has been hard. I find it helps if I can keep myself busy and distracted by other things. It’s always in the back of my mind but more manageable that way. I’ve also been falling asleep at night in front of mindless TV rather than going up to bed and lying awake over thinking. You might find it helpful to talk about things with a friend, your mum, partner or whoever you’re closest to. If you feel that you don’t want to worry them, then I called the helpline here and the nurse was fantastic. Whatever you do, don’t search things on Google, it’ll terrify you and make everything seem worse. If you really can’t resist doing some research then use more reliable sources such as this site, MacMillan or Cancer Research. Take care. xx
