Hi  I am currently on weekly paclitaxel, I have completed 10 out of 18. Initially coped well but last 2 weeks I have been having extreme tiredness and some numbness in my fingers. Oncologist told me they may need to reduce dose  to avoid neuropathy. I am obviously worried about dose reduction. Any advice reassurance that can be offered would be appreciated 🙏   ... View more

Hi everyone  I had my first paclitaxel on 7th going to be having 18 along with Herceptin every 3 weeks. I used the cold cap which was OK. First 15  mins are tough but I will try paracetamol this week. I had no nausea but have been having tingling in my fingers. Also my mouth is a bit sore. Hi I was diagnosed around a month ago with grade 2 invasive ductal breast cancer with high grade DCIS with positive sample from lymph nodes. 53mm with both progesterone and oestrogen positive. And positive for Her2. Had my CT and MRI scan last week and just waiting for a phone call to return to clinic for my results. I know due to being Her2 positive I will be having chemo first. The last few days I have been really anxious about my scan results. I keep thinking because of the size of the tumour it's bound to have spread. I have been having upper back pain and so convinced it's in my spine. I am trying to stay positive as I am usually a positive person but finding it difficult.
