Hello to both yourself and your dear mum.   I’m 69 and have mets in the lung pleura. Her2 breast cancer 2016.  Since being diagnosed my treatment has been exemestane daily tablet and Phesgo 3weekly injection (due 4th this Thursday) I'm having my 1st scan tomorrow after starting treatment to check that treatment is Working.  I'm not on the same treatment plan as your mum, so can’t give any tips regarding side effects of medication, however wish her well in the treatment.   warm wishes Trish 🦋 ... Hello  I’m 69 yrs and have recently been diagnosed with secondary Brest lung cancer (primary 6.5 yrs ago) HER2 positive  Had my third Phesgo injection yesterday and started third month of Exemestane pill.  Scan booked for July and results August.  Oncologist seems confident that if these drugs aren’t working he has other options to offer me.  I’ve lost over 1.5 stone since being diagnosed.   My goal is to be on planet earth for many more years!   😘 🤗   ... Thank you and others for sharing your positive cancer journey stories.  It’s so inspiring to hear positive outcomes regarding living with mets, especially for those newly diagnosed on this challenging breast cancer journey.  I’m due to have my first scan in July after being diagnosed March this year.  Oncologist warned me not to be too disappointed if the cancer has not change or has spread to other parts of my body.  Said the results will be the ‘new norm’ a base to work from.   Hoping to become another individual who can share their positive story with this lovely group.  I’m making it my mission to search for positive outcomes, as I know this will help and enable me to survive this challenging journey.    Warm wishes Trish 🦋 ...
