Breast Cancer Now Forum

Hi! I have bc for second time. Her2+, but they are not sure if it’s a reoccurrence or new. Had lumpectomy the first time, double mastectomy this time. I’m getting taxotere (spelling?), carboplatin, and Herceptin. They also want to include Perjeta, but I have refused as it’s only a 2% better survival rate and the GI side effects are supposed to be bad…and I have Ulcerative Colitis.
