Hi Moggy and Fish Mum I'm glad then it's not just me. I am 60 and work 4 full days as a medical secretary and have been asked several times if I'm okay to be back at work and have I not had a meltdown yet. I just feel if I can meet with friends for lunch etc and do usual things then I should be at work. I was diagnosed in June and went straight back to work next day after diagnosis. Had my lumpectomy and lymph gland clearance 3 weeks later, took 5 weeks off post op and then went back to work. Radiotherapy starts on 12th Sept for 5 days but on annual leave that week from work so will assess if feeling ok to return to work after it, I know radiotherapy affects everyone different. Friends and colleagues thought I would have been off from diagnosis until after treatment but I don't feel as if I have cancer as I feel well mentally and physically just a bit tired, is this strange ... I've been prescribed Sun Pharmaceuticals, on my second month now, side effects have eased a little. BCN advised to keep to same brand so pharmacy has noted this on my records. ... View more

That's good. I was on HRT before my surgery but obviously had to stop it completely so could be effects from stopping the HRT, time will tell. ... View more
