Its a scary journey and i think everyone will be scared at times. I was scared as after first op and 2 lymph nodes removed and no pain. Then it started as a niggle then slightly worse u think natural to think the worst. Plus i think pressing abd poking both breasts they both got tender. Once cyst drained pain went. Hope your ok x

They have found a cyst and changes skin internal which they say skin healing. Just worried as wanting me to have another biopsy as at yesterdays U/S they said it can look like one thing and be another so over thinking. Thanks ladies replys.x

Can BC return 3 months after radiation? Did oncotype test came back low score. 15 rounds radiation ended October 2022 did well now on letrazole going ok. Found out got a cyst after u/s had 3 u/s in 2 weeks all showing cyst and hardening skin as skin repairing after op. Today another u/s saying same which is followed by biopsy next week. So scared its returned.

Has anyone BC returned after low oncotype score mine 14 needed 25 to get chemo only 1% benefit extra if i had chemo. Had pain in boob apprently a cyst and harding skin repairing. Just been for an another ultrasound 4th in 12 days. Outcome same as others but going for a biopsy next week so on tender hooks yet again. Only finished radiation in October now on letrazole. Love to know if anyones cancer returned so quick with a low score.

I just think don't trust because when i found out i had dcis i was told very unlikely cancer. Then it was. Then told by all these people this week its a cyst and skin repairing then see oncologist to tell me to have another ultrasound and biopsy as might be something else its who do you bekieve.

Had DCIS and 8mm cancer clear nodes. Didn't tell me to have chemo as not sure would benefit for hormone cancer. Team oncologist recommended paying for oncotype test which thankfully came back low score. Only offering 1% extra to other treatment im on and low recurrence. Had lumpectomy and 2 lymph nodes removed. 15 rounds of radiation now on letrazole for next 5 to 10 years. Im 6 months since last op had no issues or pain. But 6 weeks ago slight pain at night in my breast when i layed on my side just a niggle. Few days before xmas thought slightly worse but not ouch. Kept feeling my breast thought hard nr scar and puckering of course thinking come back. In the last 10 days had 2 ultrasounds and mammogram all saying cyst and hardening skin healing. Go to oncologist who said the same but sure enough shes always got a BUT now wants another ultrasound and results on that maybe a biopsy so peed off. Breast care nurse saying in all her years never heard anyones cancer coming back so quick after only finishing radiation 3 months ago. Im at the stage i dont believe anyway. Sorry rant:(

I had the oncotype test im 58 thankfully low score so no chemo. But radiation and hormone tablet for 5 years. Had pain in my bad breast found out cyst. Id had a pain for a month mainly at night. My radiation treatment finished october. I know test.not 100% but wondered how often cancer returns after low oncotype score.

Yes i was a grade 3 stage 1 did oncotype test score 14 for my age which is 58 i didn't need chemo but i believe if younger that score i would of needed it.

I was stage 1 grade 3 8mm cancer plus dcis. K67 score 54% sent for oncotype test oncologist thought would come back gigh but thankfully came back low so didnt need chemo. Good luck

Im 58 not fit as exercise fit but i feel healthy move fast and scared im going to wake up like an old lady struggling to walk and move.

Nice to hear nobody having side effects. Im terrified of starting it which i will in about 6 weeks. Only just read can get dementia the side effects are just never ending.x
