hi all i am 3mths post rads my breast and underarm is very painful and tight i feel the skin is going to split especially at night i wake 4-5 times with the pain i am told this is nerve damage and feel i have to just put up with it, does anyone have the same prob i wonder about lymphoedema as well samsey x

i have been very confused about the removal of my lymph glands, i was diagnosed dec 08 had my 1st op jan 10th which was a wide excission and removal of 13 glands 1 of which was inf, had further op feb 10th to give a safe margin, most people seem to only have 3-4 glands removed, i wonder if my pain and discomfert in my arm and back is due to so many being removed i have a 4in scar, anyone shed any light on this p-lease

had my 1st op jan 10th wide excission and 13 nodes removed luckily only 1 infected, its 6 weeks since my 2nd op had more breast removed for clear margin, waiting to start radiotherapy april 16th. husband hates to see anybody in pain or not feeling good telling me i should be ok by now no pain etc feel a bit miffed at him.

hi ime christine, 53, just had my 2nd op 2 weeks ago, main pain is under my arm, feels tight, numb, painful all at the same time, how long does this last.

hi i am 4 weeks post op had to have my wound drained twice, had 13 glands removed and still have a lot of pain and discomfort running down my underarm, is this the same for anyone else
