Goodness its took along time to get ur check from clinic..... I saw the name (oldship) and thought iv seen that name before!!! had to go back to sep-oct last year and found you.... we were both on this board then.
Have you got any friends to go along with you sweetie as you shouldnt do all this yourself... men eh!! - some of them are no good for nothing.

Great news you got your results.... fingers crossed i get mine tomorrow (no hurry like!!!!!)
the blood your talking about is it from your nipples. If so thats why iv had to have a full ductal excision and thats the full results im waiting for. I had one removed the end of last year and had to go in and get the whole lot removed a few weeks ago.

Hi everyone,
Dont know if anyone remembered but i had all my milk ducts removed just under 3 weeks ago. I went back to see the surgeon the week later and she said my results hadnt come back yet and said they will write with the results and if i need more treatment the letter will tell me to come back up to see them.
Well i phoned their sec last thursday as still no word from them. she was whispering to an other woman in the room about me (could hear snippets of their conversation) and then said she will write to me and cant tell me over the phone. Iv still not heard from them which i think is strange as they had them so why the delay.
Is this normal to wait this long?

Hello everyone,
total ductal excision
I was wondering if anyone has had this done?
I had my op last tue afternoon and still in alot of pain. Im big busted 38E-F and i would say 3/4 of my breast is black/blue/red. Work was on the phone on friday asking when i will be back to work but hospital said with the job i do take the 2 weeks sick note they give you and go back to gp for an other 2, how many weeks did anyone else take.
Im back to see the surgeon tomorrow to see how surgery went and to get my dressings off.
Any advice would be most greatful as i cant seem to find much on the internet about this.

Hello Yvonne,
Yes im doing ok thanks. Very sore and black and blue but pain killers keeping pain down a bit. Im back seeing surgeon on Wed to see how it all went so fingers crossed its all gone.
I was just thinking of Vertangie and how she is doing..... So if your there sweetie let us know if your doing ok.

Hello Angie,
I live in Lancashire so im not that far from you. Me and hubby come and stay at the lakes on our romantic nights away.... well for me its romantic for hubby hes just happy cos he on a promise for the weekend lol.
Im going to try and 10 mins to myself without the kids this week and sit in my conny with the sunshine beating in and get to that happy place. For me its the thought of that walk down to the op room and climbing onto that bed then waking up to see the state iv been left in.
Is it a lump you have that has to come away?
When is the happy day you go from being Miss to Mrs?
Have to go as kids r fighting over the Wii.... world war 4.... 3 was yesterday !!!!

Thank you for your messages of support. I know i will be fine but its still scarey the thought of being out of control.
Jackie - Im going in to have a total ductal excision. I had discharge from my nipple and had one duct removed in Sep and going back to have them all out. I hope yours turns out to be nothing to worry about and you will be fine.
I know about trying not letting the kids see the web site ur on cos im the same with my 12 yr old but the other 2 are far too little to notice.

Hello,
Well one week today is my op and started to get a tad scared. Not sure if its the op or pain im scared about or what it will look like afterwards.
Trying so hard to put a front on to everyone but getting tired trying to. I feel like if i talk about it to the ones who are close i will cry and if i cry this b***dy thing has beat me.
Oh well onwards and upwards.... in the middle of cleaning all my windows plus 3 kids hanging onto my legs.... plus its a big conny iv got arghhhhh.

Hi Kat,
I was going in on the 18th and done on the 19th but when i went to pre op i asked if i really did need to go in the day before as i would rather be at home with my 3 young kids. The were happy with that as i have no medical (so to speak lol) problems so im in on the morning of the op.
Im going to Wigan Hospital in Lancashire.
Not sure what tattooing involves but have read about a few people wanting it done or have been offered it.

Hello Kat,
well went for my pre op today. I asked what i will look like afterwards and they said they didnt know as everyone is different so will have to wait till and see. I asked about reduction and they just dismissed it as they are not sure that i will look any different when all done.
Not sure what to do now other than wait till op is over with. I asked if i had any options about the op and they said no i def had to have a total ductal removal. Oh well i did try.

Sorry youve had to end up having to come posting on this site... as wonderful as it is for help and support.
Iv been having discharge from my nipple but it has been bloody. I had a milk duct removed in sep last year and by christmas i was having the same from an other duct. i went to see the surgeon at the clinic 2 weeks ago and ihave just had my pre op today to have all the ducts removed. There are many reasons why we have discharge from our nipples and it not always anything to worry about. Its very good youve been seen so soon and fingers crossed all will be well.
Sorry i cant be of any help as i dont know anything about pagets disease but please feel free to give me a shout if you need a gab and to let it all out.

I phoned the surgeons secretary this morning and she told me that i had to ask about it when i go for my pre op on tuesday. I have also spoke to my BC nurse and asked her what it will look like afterwards and she said apart from the scar there will be no difference in size. I said to her that they told me at clinic it will sink in and she said she didnt think so..... not sure now what to think!! She also said there will be a doctor at the pre op to check me over and sign my consent forms so ask him and if he cant give me an answer then ask him to go and find out. When i had my mircoductomy done end of last year it was a 2nd yr med student who i saw so not sure he will have the answers for me if its him again.
Feel a bit lost in the world of surgery and BC and its the waiting of what it will look like thats making me worried.
