It is with real sadness I am writing this post about the sad passing of Anne, one of our Embarking ladies. I didn't get to meet Anne as I never made the London meet. I was hoping to meet Anne at the Birmingham meet but she was to poorly to come.  The Embarking ladies are a small group of ladies that support each other through all our problems, Anne was a very active member of the group, she was always there with a message of support if one of us had a problem. I have sat here crying my eyes out reading all these posts, some from our group of 2010 and other posts from some very inspirational ladies. Tears of sadness what I've lost, but tears of joy for what I have gained. So happy our group leader today recieved the news that once gain she is NED. This what our group of ladies are like, when we get good news we all are as happy as if it was news from our own consultation, also though were always there if there is a problem aswell. At the moment one of our ladies isn't going through a good time, but hopefully between us we will get her through this blip with plenty of cyber hugs, a listening ear and just being there for her. Hi Maria, I am one of the 2010, and in 2010 I was scared and didn't know what was happening to me but with the help of a group of ladies I am getting through it. We have had some tears but plenty of laughs and through one of the worst things that have happened to me in my life a fantastic thing happened I met 17 fantastic ladies I am proud to call my friends. We are still going through treatment and checks, and like Saffron said we are all scared it will return, but if it does I know I will have the support of 17 wonderful ladies. Hi Maria I found you, I am one of the ladies in group of 2010 and I can vouch for everything Maria as said. Maria started our thread 2 years ago and 18 scared ladies who didn't know what was happening to them joined the thread. We have been through ups and downs but were all still here. I have found through having breast cancer I have met 17 ladies who I am proud to call my friends, so there are some positives if you look for them.So yes breast cancer is a terrible thing to happen but were here to say you can get through with a little help from your friends.
