Hi, I haven't been on this forum for a long time but just happened to be browsing tonight and I saw this thread. I was diagnosed with bc at 13 weeks pregnant. I had chemo throughout my pregnancy and I gave birth to my daughter at 31 weeks. She weighed 3lb 3 oz and she is now a healthy 3.5 year old. I just wanted to give you some hope because I remember the horror when I was first diagnosed. I also had a 1 and 2 year old at the time.

Breast pain was the first symptom of my breast cancer, though I am told that most beast cancer is painless. My breast was extremy painful but I seem to be an exception to the rule. Good luck

I'm 31 and have recently been diagnosed with liver mets. I have spent hours online looking for positive stories of people with liver mets. I feel a lot more positive than i did when i was first diagnosed. I know the statistics are so frightening but they are old, so I would advise you not to google. There are plenty of positive stories out there.

I had just turned 31 when i was diagnosed. 2 weeks later it was discovered I was stage 4. I was 3 months pregnant. People talk about being lucky to live 8 years. That means i wont see my 40th Birthday. I feel its so unfair. My eldest child is 3! I want to be around for my children.
I drink (drank!) moderatly. Have smoked in the past but never that many. I eat fairly healthily. Its not fair. I feel like my future has been taken from me.

Hi. I was diagnosed at 13 weeks pregnant. My original surgery was planned for 15 weeks but when it was discovered that I was stage 4 they cancelled the surgery. I was told that at 15 weeks I was well into my second trimester and it was as safe a time as any. Yes there is a risk involved but it decreases after the first trimester. thats what I was told anyway!
There is no way I would wait 10 weeks. If I can help in any way please let me know. I'm 23 weeks pregnant now and I am on chemo since 17 weeks.

Hi, I am pregnant and I am having chemo. I'm 23 weeks now but started chemo when I was 17 weeks. I am on AC every 3 weeks untill I am 27 weeks. Then i am starting Herceptin at 29 weeks. I am stage 4.
My onc mentioned Tax and I think I am getting that with the Herceptin. I'm not 100% sure though. I am seeing her Monday so I will clarify it with her. I know originally she said the Tax would be after the baby is born but I think she may have changed her mind and decided to give it at 29 weeks. as I said i will clarify Monday. If i can help in any way, let me know xx
