Cannot quite believe that miao is dead - I had no idea that she was this ill. Miao always put positive upbeat messages and photographs on the Somerset CanDo facebook site, she clearly had a really good sense of humour and fun. I have met Mio many times and I know that wherever she is now she will carry this sense of fun with her. Rest in peace miao.

Hi guys, especially those i met at the Penny Brohn centre this week - under a different name. The Bristol meet up is on the 24th April at 10.30 for brunch at Goldbrick House, Park Street, Bristol. I'm sure being a sleepy head i shall arrive late but if you just go in and ask for the table in the name of Becky they should direct you to the rest of the group. Sorry to have missed this - I was in France. Any chance we can meet next on Tuesday 11th October - I can definately make that. I know this sounds ridiculous and believe me I would not have believed it if I hadn't experienced it BUT I have spinal mets and i have an awful lot of pain so much so that oxycontin and god knows what other painkillers still don't do the job as I would like, SO imagine my surprise when I bought myself a pair of fitflop sandals and amazingly I cannot believe the difference they have made. My posture is entirely different and I can walk much further all with out pain, and no i am not on commission. I hope this works for you as it has for me

Sadly - cannot make it this time, I've been to Bristol today to see the homeopath and will be there again on Thurs for treatment, so I think 3 times in one week (from Taunton) is probably too much.
Hoping to have a Taunton meet on Tuesday 28th June at 1.00pm at the Cosy Club - all welcome.
