Evening Jewels
Vicki, it's good to be back sweetie. Blimey, are you still going to Zumba? I'd be on my back after the first minute lol Haha, so looking forward to seeing your bright blue eyeshadow, I'll try and match it with bright blue eyeliner 😉
Jayney, I know what you mean about onc visits. I'm quite lucky that my onc doesn't want to see my until next year, but I'm under the watchful eye of the bcn's, my chemo nurses and my chemo doc. I cottoned on quite early that if the bcn was in the onc's office then it was usually bad news, but I got used to it 😉 I wouldn't worry to much about it sweetie, I'm sure you will do just fine and it will be a routine checkup on the chemo xx
Emma (Peachy), that's amazing what your mum is doing. My OH and I are looking to do the moonlight walk in Edinburgh next year and yes, he said that he is going to wear a bra haha. Can't wait to post those pics lol
Ann, that's great that you are having a better time of it. You deserve a break from the SE's. I'm stuffing my face too and although I try not to, I just can't help it haha
Lins I hope all went well at the bar today and you're still not propping it up lol. Take care xxx
OMG Chelle, I am so glad that I cropped my hair really short, it just falls down the plug hole so not a lot of cleaning up for me hehehe
Becky, I hope all went smoothly for you today sweetie and you're not with Lins propping up the bar. Haha some of the docs are fairly fit but I'm keeping them in mind for Cress lol I am proud to hand you the title of "super mom", I'm failing miserably as the fatigue is taking over during week 1 lol.
John (Deedee), give Deedee my love and I hope she is out very soon xxx
Jill, I'm so happy that you got some sleep. God knows what's going on with me as I can sleep no problem, even on steriods lol
Cress my sweet, you can wallow in self-pity any time love. I hope you have had a relaxing day on the sofa and managed to get in all the tennis matches. I hope you feel better tomorrow xxx
Chelle - Good luck at the bar tomorrow. Don't cause a ruckus babe xx
Sandra - I told my OH about John coming on here and that he should give it a try his response was "It's hard enough dealing with 1 hormal female without adding another 30 to the backlash". I kinda saw his point lol. I had a similar issue with my scar tissue, it was a large ball until the other week when it just seemed to be a lot smaller, I don't have a dent because my onc shuffled a lot of tissue around (I had big boobs lol) but it has changed shape a bit. I am also starting to feel a little numbness in that area too. Speak with your onc on your next visit and get it checked out, but I am sure it will be fine xx
Fiona, I hope your nausea goes away very soon. I'm like you...No spare room but I do have 2 x 3 seater sofa's so I'm sure one of them will fit him quite nicely lol
Joan, I am loving your wiggy - It's great. Good luck with the headcase doc on Friday and I'm sure your lump is running scared from all the chemo drugs your sending it's way. Fight that battle xxx
Trish, I don't have an eye issue except I wear glasses when my eye's are tired however, I am finding with this chemo malarkey that my eye sight is getting blurred during the day - Not sure if it's because I feel more tired than usual, but I'm going to book myself in for an eye test.
Damn OH is calling me - I'll pop back on later for another update. Keep sparkling xxxx
