I have been on desiccated thyroid for a long time without any issue but it is not available in US anymore. would appreciate any information as to where in this world we can get it. May be UK or any other country. I tried taking Levothyroxine, it has wheat flour in it, switched to Tirosint that has corn flour( better for me since I am gluten sensitive).  Ever since I started taking Tirosint andTamoxifen, my Reverse T3 has gone up. Hi Yorkshire Tyke - thank you for sharing this update, it’s so frustrating isn’t it. I started with Teva, they stopped making 20mg so I moved to Wockhardt and now that one is having problems. Hello! I wanted to check in and see how you are feeling now. Has the pain subsided?   I'm in the exact same boat--stage 1 in 2013 with bilateral mastectomy. stage 1 recurrence in 2018 at the 5-year celebration mark. stage 1 recurrence in 2019 with redo of the mastectomy. I've chosen strength over length to be fully present emotionally to my family. Now the new oncologist has made a logical case for tamoxifen based on his concern for distant recurrence. But I am strong and love life. And...EVERYONE I know on the drug has significant pain but the studies still only mention 10% of women struggling with joint pain. Hi Charlie - have you had a planning session yesterday? That was when they discussed with me about moisturising and keeping hydrated - the skin can become very dry and itchy if not moisturised I was told. The drinking helps with the tiredness - Body is working hard to replace the cells being killed by rads with healthy ones so fluids help. Have you had a booklet about it? If not look up info on BCC site as they produce the booklet. There are also other threads on this subject if you search .
