Hi Lily    I was same  1st Fec, day 8 had a temp , went in  and Neutropenic Sepsis :(.  Saw oncologist  in Wenesday and have decided to reduce the dose by 10%  as had already had the  Filgastrim injection. Well surprise surprise rheumatologist dropped bomb shell not only can I no longer take any medication for arthritis the anti tnf treatment I was having cannot be taken by anyone with a diagnosis of cancer for 10 years. 😞 .... Apparently not alk bad news chemo can help arthritis woopee doo lol. Luckily for him he kept his hands to himself although was really looking forward to kicking him. Morning Stars   Well glad all the Ladies made it back safely form their 1st dunking with minimal side effects 🙂   So far I was wide awake at 2am and said hello to the big white telephone wasn't pretty 😞 . Took my backup anti sickness  and had more this morning. Just feel nauseous at  the moment  due to nasty metallic taste . I've managed to go  right off coffee,  I have no idea how I'm going to cope without my shot of caffeine 😄 could be dangerous.   To be honest I feel like I've got a hangover , which is doable but shame there was no alcohol involved. I agree with Jo, try and eat something small before your chemotherapy   I've been up and out thins morning, Dog to the Groomers , short trip round Tesco and then A trip round the duck pond with the dog. I'm now under OH orders to put my feet up 🙂   I'm also having to inject myself today (as I chose not to have District Nurse do it) Its  to  Help against becoming Neutropenic from what I understand. Hey Stars Just  Got back it went really well. Spent a fair few hours at Christies this evening Luckily l had an amazing chemo nurse who had me and the OH laughing all the way through treatment   Well until they gave me the steroid injection and i felt like just sat on a load of nettles   but nevermind, Been a big day , Im a little tired and hav a metallic taste in my mouth yuck, but im ok Jo Im glad it went well for you today, and hope Gold got through today without any hiccups .     ... Morning Cat   Good Luck for today haing your line inserted. It went ok more weird sensation than anything else. Lot of local anaestetic was that way to go. Was really sore last  night but a few paracetamol took care of it. Feels better today though just feels odd 🙂 .  The Good news is apparently we have to continue usng the hibi scrub for the duration now.
