Thanks for replies.. yes i take meds for acid due to a hernia.also ibrufen due to bone pain from chemo tamoxifen,stopped tamoxifen after 4.5 yrs as i really felt poisoned by it upset tummy acid aches pains moody i could go on.any way went to see doctor he believes its my poor diet having no gallbladder etc and advised i change my ways.dont drink really unless we go out  which isn't often,doctor said nurse may have over worried me as my liver function was only 2 over but he feels thats my diet and life style but will run another blood test in two months.oh and i must lose weight he said too much tummy fat.xx ... thanks for reply mickey,yes i have had my hip problem bout 9months i have only just gone to gp with it..thats when he ran all the blood tests and the liver came up too.he did think the the hip was inflamation but wanted full bloods as i haven't had any since treatment 4.5 yrs ago..i am so bad at not going to the gp! since all this.i have no gallbladder so  i am hopeing the liver is over working or something i stopped taking tamaxifen 6months ago...as for the hip i wouldnt know it hurt until i go to bed then its like i am laying on the floor the bone hurts,it feels like ive fallen on the hip bone but i havent.x ... I agree with you i am 2stone heavier and i have aged too..i can see it my skin is drier my hair limp and my face has aged!i look **bleep** too! been on it four years so people might say well you would age in four years , but i dont think i would of looked this rough if it wasnt for tamoxifen,x ... hi i dont hobble as it only hurts laying down..if i didnt lay on it  i wouldnt really know i had a problemi havent been to the doctors as it is so near my check up with oncoligist that i am waiting untill then..sometimes i forget when i am asleep turn over and ouch i am quickly reminded do not lay on me..hope yours feels better soon did you have antibiotics?as my friend did as her doctor thought the fluid around the joint may be infected,x ... i am glad someone replied having the same problem..i havent been to see my gp as i have my last check up next month so will wait to see oncol.i keep just hoping it will go on  its own but had it a few months now.like i said its not a pain fine until i lay down  to sleep then i am reminded to turn over..thanks for replying.x ... i have never googled about it..i like you found out myself as the oncoligist never mentioned it..i was 3yrs down the line when i found it it freaked me out a little.the oncol.shrugged his shoulders when i mentioned it saying it doesnt really concern us..you have had chemo radio to get any stray cells if they had escaped...i have know idea why they dont mention it to us??they only mention nodes  how many are involved if any at all..but not lvi.x ... dont think i will be much help but i had lymphovascular invation 4+yrs ago but clear nodes..i also did not get clear margins so had a second op to get clear margins..my oncoligist never mention lvi it was sometime later when i got a copy of the lab reports via my docs i was in great shock as i didntnt even know i had lvi i hadnt been told!when i next saw my oncoligist he explained they wasnt really concerned with lvi,he explained it meant the tumour had its own blood supply and 'maybe' cells had started to escape..but added that was why i had chemo to blast any cells if they had  managed to escape.x ... catchpole..i had a chemo buddy also on tamoxifen she never had any side effects just gets hot now and then,some ladies are fine on tamoxifen.she has been on it the same as me 4+ yrs.x ... View more

me too..my 80 yr old mother lives with me and i am as tired as her lately..maybe one or two days i get a burst of energy but it doesnt last.felt better on chemo i think.i have even thought i felt better on tam and been thinking if to just start them again,even though my side effects seemed but be getting worse with the longer i was on them like acid reflux which i gladly dont get now i am not taking them!hip pain etc i really could go on haha thats another side effect i think i dont stop moaning.on/off them x ... i will be following this post as i stopped the dreaded tamoxifen two months ago as i just couldnt cope anymore...however sinse i have stopped i feel the same as you..but also drained,feel sick when i wake lasts until mid-day i just feel worse than when i was  on it!my moods are awful and i feel sorry for anyone around me,aches pains have got worse..i have a checkup in may so i will be in for a telling off as they wanted me on this pill for 10yrs!i am 51. ... yes i htink they all have the same side effects..yes i can  walk cycle sit stand but laying down is when it hurts.i have read these hormone pills can cause inflamation of joints,x ... View more

thanks for replying.sounds pretty much the same mine is a sciatica feeling now moved to my bottem!still can't lay on my side but it has moved slightly down.i shall give it another two wks then go to the doctors if not any better..i really do hate going to the docs .xx ... View more
