Thank you I am home Thursday night so I will try and get seen as soon as possible. I was on holiday last year when I saw an indentation, and the rest is history. Can't believe it's happening again!

Hi everyone I have been on here many times in the past year. I went on holiday last year and spotted an indentation in my left breast, it turned out to be cancerous, I had it removed followed by radiotherapy and tamoxifen. I have just arrived at hotel and was standing in front of mirror and have spotted an indentation in my right breast I don't even want to check for a lump surely it can't be back again. Any thoughts will be very welcome. Maggie

Got speaking to my B C N today she is going to see if the new oncologist will see me sooner apparently mine has left! Here's hoping I get things explained. The nurse said most people don't want or need to know what's in their notes. Maggie x

I was grade 2 no nodes affected had radiotherapy and I'm on tamoxifen now, I wasn't offered chemo they said it would only give me an extra 2%, but if they had told me about the lymphovascular invasion I would have queried that figure! I just think I should have been told. Thank you for responding Maggie x

Yes I do feel you understand thanks for that, hubby thinks I should put it behind me but it was such a shock when I seen it written in my notes. I think if I had been told about it at the time I would have been able to deal with it better. Thanx again Maggie x

You sound similar to me mine was grade 2 though. I had my surgery 10 months ago and wouldn't have known about the L v I if I hadn't got my notes for insurance purposes, im upset about this and feel like I did when I was first diagnosed. I feel it's too late for chemo now and I don't see my oncologist for another six months. Thank you for responding to my post x

Thank you for replying, that is very reassuring. I think I should have been told about this at the time and also that I had DCIS high grade, I don't understand why we aren't given all the relevant information at the time.

Just got my hospital report from my gp for insurance purposes and now I am worried. I was told I had infiltrating ductal carcinoma and it was removed a grade two. In the report it says I also had DCIS high grade B5b no-one told me this, I don't know what this means long term, also it says that there was evidence of lymphovascular invasion.i wasn't offered chemotherapy. Any advice would be welcome. Maggie

Hi I had surgery for bc in july and rads finished end of september. I am on tamoxifen at the moment, but I was wondering if it could come back so quickly in the same breast as I have found a little lump about the size of a pea on the inside of my breast? My bc was on the outside! Any advice would be welcome as I don't want to get on the rollercoaster again if I don't have to. Many thanx

Thank you Amber they gave me cream at the hospital today and told me only to use that. I used Aloe Vera gel after surgery to ease the stinging and it helped then. Love Maggie
