Mostly bone/joint pain which has been minimal and tbh nothing for last couple of days.....however today I’ve had a yellowish discharge ... I read that vaginal bleeding can be a side effect.... has anybody had any experience of this and does it go away.

I was lucky enough to be prescribed Femara when Sandoz was discontinued...... have tried cheaper brands in the past and had bad side effects...... been on Femara for a week now and minimal S/e so fingers crossed I’ll be ok

After having problems getting my usual prescription I phoned Sandoz today to be told it was discontinued a few weeks ago. Iam absolutely gutted as this was the only brand which gave me no side effects ... I now have to see my oncologist to find an alternative. The side effects of different brands were horrendous as Iam sure many of you know. Wanted to give a heads up to any of you ladies out there who are on Sandoz Letrozole.

Forgot to say, Boots have on several occasions tried to give me different brands, which I have tried but there's only one which has minimal side effects for me which is Sandoz and I insist I have it, stay strong girls x

I was originally put on Anastrazole and suffered really badly with joint pain, to the pint I was shuffling along as it was so sore. My Oncologist changed me to Letrozole and what a difference. I have been on it for 18months and only occasionally have any pain, changing melds literally changed my life. We are on these drugs for a long time, please don't suffer in silence and ask your Oncologist to change x

Good luck for today Joyce! Isn't it a nightmare wearing a sleeve and glove in this weather, must admit I took mine off for a short time yesterday. So the update on the fluid on my back.......it turns out I have Lipoma, which is a benign tumour or fatty lump. It's soft to touch almost spongy and moves, nothing to be done with it, just glad it's not Lymphodema. It's not connected to cancer, anyone can get it. Hope you're all having a nice day, it's chucking it here now 😒

Good to hear responses from an experienced person, I guess we all deal with this differently and hopefully positively. Spoke to my Oncology nurse today and she's managed to bring forward my check up appointment so will see Onc on Fri. Hopefully he'll be able to help with my problem x

Phoned Lymphodema nurse today and they're on holiday so it was suggested I visit my GP and guess what he didn't know how to help so has referred me back to nurse who will contact me anyway as I left a message to contact me on return from hols. No wonder we feel there is a lack of support x

Morning everyone, looks like we can give a lot of welcomed support to each other, as we are the only ones who know what impact having Lymphodema has on our lives. It's with us 24/7 with no escape. The warmer weather definately instigates some rather personal questions from others, Iam personally fed up having to explain myself. I had lumpectomy and total node clearance and have Lymphodema in my arm and hand. Last week I noticed I have developed fluid at the top of my back, anybody had this problem? It will clear a bit with massage directing the fluid to my clevical but returns. Lymphodema nurse only works Tues/Wed so going to phone tomorrow. Pouring rain here today so no awkward questions lol, take care ladies 😃

NannySal, I too have struggled with Lymphodema because it is forever. Twice in the last week I've had shop assistants ask 'what's wrong with your arm' when I mention Lymphodema expecting them to leave it at that but no... More questions so I go straight in with cancer but even that didn't shut them up! Would totally agree there is very little support for us

Have you tried the bra like crop tops, they ate soft and slightly padded which can be removed if required. Asda have a good selection just now, also seen them in Marks and Next have a lovely Lacey one. They're so comfy

I've been taking Letrozole for eighteen months now, once the side effects settled its been ok. When I picked up my last prescription the brand had changed. I tried them but the side effects were horrendous. Boots pharmacy changed them for my original brand which is Sandoz. I went to get my prescription today and they've told me they can't get Sandoz from their suppliers anymore. Has anyone had this problem? Is it down to cost? I really don't want to go to square one with s/e as I have to take these for 10yrs.

Iam on Sandox and the side effects are minimal compared to Anastrazole although it did take a few months to settle down x

Hi Ladies, thought I'd share my experience. I was initially put on Anastrazole in August 2013, the pain I suffered in my joints and feet was terrible. I shuffled along and felt ancient. My meds were changed to Letrozole in April 2014 and gradually have got better, much better infact I feel almost normal again. (Whatever that is) I get the odd twinge and hot flush but nothing to complain about. I have also been getting accupuncture for the flushes which helps immensely. I guess what Iam trying to say is ask to change your meds if you're suffering and the side effects do seem to improve through time but it's not easy x

Hi Ladies, I was put on Anastrazole August 2013, the bone pain was very intense to the point I could hardly walk especially first thing in the morning. My Oncologist changed my medication to Letrozole April 2014 and what a difference. I still get occassional aches but nothing like I suffered before. It's definately worth asking if you can try something else x
