Carrot I found Vivorelbine doable - just didint last long - just 3 months. My problems are the cancer symptoms in my abdomen are horrendous - I am seven months pregnant and on lots of meds to try and move things along - sorry to be blunt. So I cant eat or even drink much and get breathless because on my diagrham. Have a new med to take tonight so hoping it is going to ease symptoms a little as very difficlut times at the moment. Next chemo Thursday so want to try and have this so that if it starts to work I will get some relief. Good luck with Vinorelbine if thats what you have next Jackie xx

Lovely to hear from you Bev, I am so sorry you are still feeling so poorly and that you will miss your holiday. Hopefully you will soon be feeling a little better which will enable you to arrange something else to look forward to. Morning ladies. I found out yesterday that I will be joining you on erubilin next week. I cant say I am looking forward to it but my current chemo vinorelbine is no longer working so change required. Have had mets for 4 years now, 2 of which just in my bones then since then it has spread to lymph nodes and more recently my abdomen which is the worse from a symptoms point of view so really hoping this chemo will work and relieve some of the symptoms.x

Ladies I echo what everybody else says - get it now - things can change very quickly with this disease. I know from personal experience that I was very well at the end of last year and now things are not very good so get it now nobody knows what the future holds but ours is certainly more uncertain than most! Hi Smartie Im sorry that you have been unwell and found yourself in hospital. Whilst I am not on erubilin - currently vinorelbine I too have found myself not really knowing what to do. Have cuaght a heavy cold / cough and know that bloods are on way down so have had blood tests today. Temperature is fine although feel rough. Hoping that they will prescibe antibiotics just in case but will have to see....do find it a worry that immune system so comprimised.x

So saddened like everybody to learn of Lulu's passing. She was a lovely lady who supported so many, a true inspiration. She had so much courage and will be greatly missed. RIP Lulu and my thoughts are with all her family and friends. xx
