I love the thought of having the prosthectic nipple pierced I had thought of roses along my tummy scar to the hide the marks /lumps though. There is part of me that just wants to leave well alone and another that misses the nipple i am rather mixed up at the moment. its only been 7 months since op and i did have fat necroses so have scars on boob perhaps a tattoo woud cover up the marks better its really worth thinking about. Hi I have had tram flap re con and are due to have nipple re con IF I want one. Also to remove dog ears . Any advice please. I always find things out after the event so trying to be prepared for once.

I have always used bio oil (WLS and rads tamoxafin 2009) but when my cancer returned last year aug 2013 my p.s. said there is NO MAGIC CREAM to get rid of your scars. (I had tram flap re con) I felt like a right fool having believed all the bumph i had read about Bio oil. I also tried to find cream to help vaginal dryness and found that they had paraben and estrogens (Not sure about silk tho) in but the best advice I was given was "If you can eat it ,you can put in on your body",so I use olive oil on my scars (all healed) and press to get rid of scar tissue it works and you know its safe. oh and i use grapseed oil too but try to buy in glass bottle if you can as its supposed to be better for you as the plastic has??? estrogens in. Wow its a wonder we ever eat, drink of do anything xxx

Hi, Yes it two different surgeons and hospitals. Because i am opting to have an immediate reconstruction my hospital has had to pass me onto a larger hospital with plastic surgeons. I already have mild lymphoedema so do not want to have the glands removed if possible.

Hi, I have one doctor saying i can have blue dye to check nodes and another doctor saying no there is no point the dye will not show because i have already had radiation and damage to same breast due to previous cancer. I have had scan to arm pit and all looks well. But they are suggesting full clearance!!!!

Hi would someone please give me advice on what to take into hospital for tram flap. Is it magic knickers that go above your tummy button or bellow and a sports bra. I am usually a calm person but I seem to have lost all common sense this time. I feel cross because the BCN said if I had been taken off tamoxafin last year ,I have been on it for 4 years and had a drug for women through menopause there is a good chance it would not have returned. Support please.

Hi Guys, I have been offered lipo (to remove fat from my tummy and trans to toxic titty) to fill in a rather large dent. BUT the PS says she will do it under Local not General. !!! I now feel like saying I do not want it. What do you think? Anyone had lipo under local ?

Hi, I have had my sleeve on for a few months now and i must admit the pain in my arm shoulder feels so much better. But i started swimming again after a long time and my arm has improve by 80% it been great. It worked for me. Just 20 mins a day.

Hi, Please feel free to put your weight in on start of diet but if you do not want to thats ok too. But it would nice to see our weight loss over the next few weeks or in my case months! I hope to lose 2lbs over the next week.
We have had enough pressure so lets support each other and have a laugh. Any good tips or low cal foods would be good to. Good luck everyone.xxx
