Hi I'm on Letrozole I get all the side effects, aching bones and pain. However in answer to your dentistry problem.  I have always had my check ups and within months of taking Letrozole I needed 3 fillings. 6 months later I go for check up and need another 2 fillings (dentist asked me what I was doing to need so many fillings) .Sadly I refused to have any more fillings so the teeth still need filling. My doc asked how I was coping and I burst out crying saying that with all the problems I've been through, and now my teeth are falling apart.  He said it is from the tablets. Hi I did the fast forward treatment in March this year.  Weston Park Sheffield. I chose to go through with this cos a) I didn't need chemo b) I didn't want to be travelling  back and forwards to the hospital daily for weeks. I went through all the thoughts on the usual (what if it didn't work and the cancer came back was it my fault etc) but I was assured that I would be watched over for longer than usual. Hi I am allergic to the adhesive on plasters and dressings. I was in hospital for a completely different operation, before I went to theatre I told them I was allergic to plasters and the white tape. When I woke up I said my back was burning and what was on it. In the end someone come to look and like you I had got blisters. Talk about painful it was honestly like having a hot iron stuck on me and peeled all the top skin off. They said no one had had such a reaction (like I believed that). I guess at the moment I'm on a guilt trip . I got told that seeing as I'm the only one in the family that has had BC and that I am the only one in the family that drinks lots of diet coke its my fault and I should stay off the coke. Then my brother in law said to me yesterday to be careful what I say to my sis (not his wife) cos she is saying. " Well Sandra has that but she is now well and I (she ) is never going to get better." Hi Anne I had spots too with the Tamoxifen and other side effects. So please don't feel that you're on your own. I am sure that someone will come along and give you some advice on how to deal with them. I can't really help cos of the other side effects I was taken off the Tamoxifen. ... View more

Hi and no problems. I am not up with all the abbrieviations either. I have to go to the post that tells you them all. I have just got out the bath and lazing about waiting to get dressed. I have 3 hours to go to my appointment. and 1 min not that I'm counting of course. I hope they take the dressings off today cos they are so making me itch and sore. (I'm allergic to most plasters) but of course I have to have something on them lol. I hope by now you've made new friends and contacts. I think it is the chat room tonight. I'm so sorry to hear from you. I know that doesn't sound right but I didnt know what else to put. I am sure that there will be people along today that will help and give you lots of advice. I just didn't want you to keep looking at the forum like what I did and find no one had read or wrote to you as quick as what you would have liked them to. There will be lots of people on the forum soon. After school runs getting kids sorted etc. I went for mammogram before Christmas and biopsy after. I had a lump that needed to be removed in my right breast. I had that taken out last week. See surgeon on Thursday for the results. Dont go down the road of looking up information on other sites a lot of it is outdated and so confusing your head starts to spin. If you do have questions ask on here and I'm sure that someone will come along and answer yours for you. I hope you're having a good day so far (it will get better) and you will meet lots of women you will build up a whole new family with.
