Hi there feeling worried that I have secondary lung cancer wanted to ask all you lovely ladies who have been diagnosed with this how you found out and what your symptoms were? I have had a cough and blocked nose for about 10 weeks had 2 lots of antibiotics but still coughing a lot of yellow muck up. It started with a runny nose and blocked nose but these symptoms have cleared up just the cough now. Any feedback would be appreciated as I am fearing the worse xx

Finished treatment for breast cancer a year ago. Have been having a burning sensation and slight pain in my upper right abdomen for a few months and now I can feel a lump there have convinced myself the cancer has spread. Has anyone else had any of the above symptoms. Any help would be appreciated 🙂 Helen

Thanks ladies for your comments. I had my mammogram last Tuesday and going back on Wednesday for my results so will ask my consultant then. Think I am just in a worrying mode at the moment every little thing I am convinced I have IBC or secondaries so will be glad when Wenesday comes.

Hi everyone just wondered if anyone can help.
Had a lumpectomy almost a year ago then six lots of fec and 20 sessions of radiotherapy.
Have noticed in the last few weeks my breast and nipple have developed a sort of orange peel efect just wondered if this is normal after rads.

Hiya it is a lovely feeling isn't it, are you having any radiotherapy, starting on Monday 4 weeks including 1 booster week as I didn't get clear margins.
Sure you will be fine as its such a relief to finish I found the last one a walk in the park compared to the others.

Hi there everybody hope everyone is enjoying this lovely weather.
Alex I am also having my first fec on Wednesday so we will be going through this journey together, debating whether to go and have my hair cut before or to wait until next weekend.
All seems to be happening to quickly now and the nerves are starting to appear but suppose as soon as you start the sooner you are to finishing and getting back to normality.

Thanks ladies for your replies yes agree it is best to have the scan first to make sure everything working fine.
Julie I've been persuaded to try the cold cap even though I know a few people who have tried it with not a lot of success but will give it a go.. ..

Hi there lovely ladies went to see my oncologist yesterday having six lots of fec but have to go for a heart scan first is this normal procedure? He said as I am taking Ramipril for high blood pressure better to have the scan first think I am dreaing this more than the chemo !!!!!

Hiya I'm the same as you had lumpectomy and nothing had spread to lymph
mine is grade 3 as well. My doctor said as I am under 50 will have to have six lots of chemo then four weeks of radiotherapy.
I know where you are coming from chemo is a daunting thought but did'nt really have a choice he just said need to zap your body clean and you can look forward to your next thirty years.
Waiting to see an oncologist to know exactly when my treatment will start.
