Lemon drizzle thank you. I hope the fatigue starts to ease now. Nicky, I was on 4mg am and now on 2mg for one week then stop. Hope your scan goes well. Julie thank you. Yes the fatigue is the worse.  Belinda, hope you're feeling better after your transfusion. My daughter will be round shortly and will spoil me I'm sure. Funny face, thank you. Hoping by next I will feel much less fatigue. Chocolates looking forward to feeling better.meanwhile eating well and enjoying food.. Thanks so much chocolates. Am now home and finished with wbr. Have been wobbly but I am putting that down to calcium levels now. think we will see how I am now I am back on treatment for this.  Poor Helen! I hope they sort her out quickly. Let us know how she is getting on later won't you? I hope you have a really nice Easter chocolates. I won't be doing much but my daughter is coming round. Morning everyone, Jjust a quick post a I am going for last wbr today!! I have been okay except for the tiredness. However my calcium is rising and my liver enzymes are slightly higher so onc bringing scan forward and will probably be going onto eribulin. Will have bloods done next week.   Chocolates, thanks for passing on the news about Helen. Would you pass on my love and hugsxxx   Bev, I'm sorry you had such a bad time this week. I will be finished with my radiotherapy today and apart from bad fatigue I have been okay. You are only on tables for a few minutes.   Belinda, I hope the blood transfusion helps to make you feel much better and you have a lovely Easter.         Natalie, I hope you have managed to get over your bad day and and that your scan results are good. Sianie, the chemo I was on for liver mets was vinorelbine and it worked very well. I had eight cycles but onc took me off it to give me a break as I was having low blood counts I am now on faslodex which is a hormone treatment given by monthly injection.I should find out in four weeks if it is working. I he so because it is an easy treatment! The onc has something else lined up for me if not and I feel I can always go back to vinorelbine. Different tx work for different people. Your mum could get something that works for years and if not there are lots of treatments out there. Good luck sianie. Helen, what is that man like!! You need an optimistic onc not a negative one. Hi doesn't seem to be forward thinking. When I saw him two weeks  ago he had ordered eribulin for me before it was going off the drugs fund. It had gone to appeal so I will find out on Thursday when I see him. Wbr. He does that there are many other tx to try. He also says that he has patients 4 & 5 years out of w b r who are still doing fine.  I have bone, lung and liver mets beside recently found brain mets and if we can sort brain out and keep cancer in the rest of the body under control I should also be able to keep stable for a while to come. If there are any mets showing after treatment I could possibly have stereotactic to get rid of the ones left.. Don't let your onc let you down. You Need to have confidence in your team. Sending you a massive hug and be assertive with that insensitive man! Hope everyone else is doing okay and that your tx are going okay. Morning all. I'm sorry I haven't posted for a few days but I have been so tired with the wbr. I don't feel Ill with it but very slow and wobbly! I have to have several naps but I am half way through so that's good. Bev I wish you well with your appointment next week. I am thinking of you. Helen I hope you are feeling better. Hi lynnq. The tiny mets didn't show on the ct scan. That's why they thought I could have stereotactic radiotherapy but they did show on the MRI so have to go with that. Onc says he has several pts who have had wbr 4 and 5 years ago and they are still doing fine! I'll go with that! Lots of love Sheila. Xx ... View more

Hi lynnq, had my first wbr tx yesterday. Apparently a have some tiny mets as well as the ones pressing on the facial nerve so could not have stereotactic tx. Anyway, I feel OK today. Had a nose bleed last night and a slight headache but nothing too bad...,.,...yet. Very tired though but have been for a while really. Hope you had a lovely holiday. Lots of love Sheila. Xxx ...
