Hi Ladies,    Great news SJB that you have finally had your recon. Delighted things seem to have gone well and I hope you are recovering well at home.    Hopefully all plain sailing from now on for you!!!!   Lovely to hear you everyone is getting on. Hi Ladies   Glad to hear of everyone's progress; it's always a tough time when it comes round to November.    I had my mammogram and consultant check up this morning; all fine which is such a relief.    I am amazed how far we have all come and it's so nice to just be getting on with life.    Sending big hugs to everyone xx ... Hi Ladies   Just checking in and good to see that it is reasonably quiet on the forum; hopefully everyone is getting on with their lives.    I've been doing ok; still have restricted movement in my right arm but that was due to the mx and the lymph node clearance. Hello Angels   Nice to hear your updates - Petal, I hope all works out well for you and look forward to hearing your news.    SJB and Wyn - all sounds great and excellent that you are moving forwards!   I had my last Herceptin this morning - round 18 of 18!!  I am having my port out on Thursday which really will signal the end. Hi Ladies   I was chemo first as well.    I was told that I would be checked six monthly but next mammogram in November 2015.    I still have 5 Herceptins to go so will be on three weekly hospital visits until mid February 2015. Excellent news Wyn!   I had my first mammogram since surgery on Thursday and it was clear!!! A nervous wait for the results which does pull you back up in your tracks.............   13 rounds of Herceptin done now, with 5 left. I am still having weekly physio as limited range of movement in my arm, but that's a small price to pay. Great news re Kander!   Petal - I hope you feel better soon................   I am two thirds of the way through Herceptin - 6 more lots to go. I am still very restricted movement wise in my right arm and am having twice weekly physio on it. They are great, aren't they!  I was still having chemo when I went to mine so found it really helpful when I probably felt at my worst. Hi Petal   Thank you for asking after me too.    The arm pain is still not good and I had an MRI on Saturday. Got the results this evening and it's wear and tear, rather than anything sinister which was the concern. I am on weekly physio and painkillers and hoping things will improve soon.    I have also been referred to the lymphoedema clinic next week as I can't get my rings on my right hand. I don't think it's too bad but am keen to get things going there as soon as possible,    10 Herceptins done now and 8 left. I don't find that particularly easy but only on the day of the infusion.    Glad to hear about everyone's progress - it's been such a journey and definitely a different life when you start to emerge from the other side!   Best wishes to everyone, Jules xx ... Hi Ladies   Glad to see everyone is getting on so well.    I have had such problems since finishing radio with ridiculous pain in my shoulder and arm. Initially, I had a stiff and painful neck, but its travelled down my arm and is not nice. I also have lost power in my right arm (the operated side) - the physios think the muscles have switched off as a result of the radio treatment. To be honest, they are all scratching their heads wondering what to suggest, so I am hoping for some answers this week. It's just a cocktail of painkillers at the moment which I don't like, but I need them to get through the day.    I've worked thoughout all my treatment but have to say that I found last week to be the most challenging of them all, with the pain and only being able to use one arm!  I am hoping it's just the last push but wondered if anyone had heard of any other lady that has had the same problem?    I had radio in three places - the mastectomy and axilla site, plus my collarbone.    Have a lovely Bank Holiday Monday!   Jules xx ...
