Hi anyone going to work while on treatment? Do you drive or take public transport? Hi feeling better this afternoon I popped on the anti sickness bracets at 12 and been ok. Oncall doc said to eat something small before next dose so had a dry roll and kept the meds down from 2....so fingers crossed!!!! will have a small bite of pasta tonight and have set my alarm to take my next set of meds......Phew! Just noticed there's nothing but cooking shows on in the afternoon I usually love them but not when your feeling quezzy....;0( Thanks for making me smile and laugh today guys Rusty xx ... View more

Hi ladies Yesterday 1st chemo I was ok I woke up this moring to my glands inlarged, so called the hotline they said not to worry then the sickness kicked in every time I take a tablet within the 40mins its up. The steriods too. so calling this afternoon cause they only gave me a certain amount of those.....GOnna take a shower and dress but yes major headache too....Hoping this is just an adjustment day..... Hello All Im new, I found out today I start my fec-t treatment on wednesday 12the Feb. I knew it was coming thought I was ready but dont know if you ever can be ready...getting very anxious and weepy this afternoon so went straight to hairdresser and had my hair cut from a bob to a level 2 with a quiff!!! So I now know the shape of my head im hoping the next cut or shave wont be too much of a shock!! Im all over the place like what should I do tomorrow how to prepare????All I can say is Im glad I found a site where we are all going through this at the same time and keep each other positive. I dont know about the cap.......Im so confused weather to just shave my hair off completely or just cropped short. Ive had 3 shorter hair styles since dec..now a short bob going for the next one sat to close crop???? Is the canunula left in, I heard you can either have it in the hand or on the chest????...seroma is full I feel it so tight...sorry to hear relationship woes but may bring you close again????if that's what you want that is??? I dont know about you but Ive never seen soo much cancer on the media tv newspapers even soaps, I feel its following me ;0) I guess I just have a heightened sense now......Have a good day.....x ... Glad to hear you got through......is it painfull at all? the sickness comes after I guess but the drugs helped? Do you have a husband, partner children you live with?. wow ther really are different approaches, they last drained on monday 150ml so going down last week 200 but go back to oncol monday to see if we can go ahead??? My treatment is fec-t. I just want to start it now although nervous of my reaction to it. I went to my first counceling yesterday which was helpful she mentioned to try and be positive and excepting about the chemo and not scared like its the enemy....Ive never been sick before so I dont know what to expect....but Im now refferring it as my treatment.:0) All the best for your treatment today..... rustywoof ... Thanks KM What stage are you at now? Did you have have chemo? not sure what WLE and ANC are. Yes I know what you mean about the side its's tight and stretched to the max I too use the bio oil....How is the feeling under the arm where the muscle is? does it still feel like a rolled newspaper? Also I guess im getting sensation back week by week and get funny sensations in my breast???also some odd pains here and there does that settle down too... thanks for your advise rustywoof ...
